Lets meet Mina!
She has been successfully treated for heartworms and is now ready for her new Fur-Ever home!
This is what her current shelter foster family has to say about her:
- Mina is a great girl, she is very cuddly, can be very persistent for petting/attention(buts her head into you till she gets your attention)
- She sleeps w/ my son some nights, doesn't chase kitties, likes big and small dogs.
- Her only flaw is she is growly w/ other dogs over food. She growls and snarls but doesn't attack. I just feed her in a crate to remedy it. It's just food (dry kibble) I can take the food away from her and if I sharply say "Mina, knock it off" she will stop
- She shares rawhides, waits patiently for her turn for fish oil (I give fish oil capsules every other day)
- She doesn't much play w/ toys, sometimes she will play tug w/ my lab but that's the most I've seen her play w/ toys
- She walks well on a leash but can chew through a leash in a heartbeat if you aren't paying attention.
- Mina LOVES snow!!! It is her obsession, you can't get her in once she's out in it. She'll be out in the yard on her back rolling in it.
I will keep you posted on how she is doing and update her pictures upon her arrival in our home on the 24th!
If she isn't too stressed from transport, she will be at the pet adoption event
Mina was adopted at the event today. She was the highlight of the event with her calm temperament and lovable personality! She will have the company of the feline kind and lots of doggie friends that come to visit!
